For Athlete’s Foot
Athlete’s foot is an extremely common disease that ends up infecting around 15% of the population. Anyone who has ever had athlete’s foot can tell you how annoying the burning and itching is. Soaking your feet in apple cider vinegar will do two things for athlete’s foot. First, it can help kill off the fungus that is causing the problem. Second, it will help moisturize your feet, reduce the swelling and itchiness, and help you get rid of any dead skin which will make living with athlete’s foot more bearable until it is cured completely.
Dealing with athlete’s foot is relatively simple. Take your basin or home foot spa (what you use to rest your feet in is entirely up to you) and add 2-4 cups of apple cider vinegar (the exact amount will depend on the size of your basin, and the size of your feet). Then add warm water to the ACV, but not so much that you dilute your mixture. A 1-to-1 ratio of ACV to water is the maximum we would recommend. A 2-1 ACV to water ratio will be more effective. An easy way to deal with smelly feet is to combine 1 part apple cider vinegar, 1 part water, and 1/2 part baking soda. For example, add 4 cups of ACV to your basin. Match that with 4 cups of warm water. Finally, add in 2 cups of baking soda. Soak your feet for 15 minutes daily to get rid of smelly feet.
For Toenail Fungus
To fight toenail fungus you need to make your foot more acidic so that the fungus has trouble surviving. The best recipe involves combining equal parts apple cider vinegar and warm water in a basin. Mix half a gallon of hot water with 2 cups of apple cider vinegar and around a half of a cup of Epsom salts. Soak your feet in the mixture until the water gets cold, which should be around 20 minutes depending on how well you heated the water. This mixture will help relieve pain and tension in the foot muscles.
For Foot Detox
For getting rid of toxins in the feet, try adding 2 cups of apple cider vinegar into a basin filled with hot water. Simply soak your feet in the mixture until the water has gone cold. The apple cider vinegar will help draw the toxins out of your feet and help soothe your muscles.
